Hanuman

About this collection

Hanuman Ji — Bajrang Bali, Pavanputra, Sankat Mochan (हनुमान) — in posters that show both his strength and his devotion. The designs include Panchmukhi Hanuman (ॐ पञ्चमुखहनुमते), Hanuman in meditation, the Lanka Dahan scene, Pavanputra Hanuman and a peaceful Hanuman design.

Several posters carry lines from the Hanuman Chalisa — “तुम रक्षक काहू को डरना” and “सब सुख लहै तुम्हारी सरना” — and the well-known shloka “मनोजवं मारुततुल्यवेगं”.

Choosing and hanging

A meditation or peaceful Hanuman suits a pooja corner, bedroom or living room. Action designs such as Lanka Dahan or Pavanputra are popular for a gym, study room or office. For a sacred image, many families follow Vastu guidance favouring the north-east, north or east — practices vary, so go with what your family follows.
